If you have time to vote for the 2008 Beijing Olympics torch bearer’s competition, please do it now before it ends this month (October 31). As part of the forthcoming Olympics, the Chinese organizer needs more than 21,000 bearers from the local communities and abroad, but only 8 slots are allotted for foreign nationals living in China.

There are four Filipinos vying for this prestigious position. Please vote wisely! Read their profiles carefully and decide for yourself our Sports Ambassador in the forthcoming Olympic event in Beijing. Good luck.

While clicking the links, just ignore or cancel the Chinese Installer option. It does not really matter, the computer will recognise it.

I also found out that the last Filipino torch bearer that participated in the Olympic games was in 1964 during the Tokyo Olympics.
